The best party favor ever: a finished object!
Think of it like a house party where you get to show up on your own terms, interact with humans at your own comfort level, and the drinks are already bought and paid for (in your kitchen).

About the wrap
Designed on a road trip from Los Angeles to New York City, the Coast to Coast Wrap is inspired both in form and function by the sites along the way.
The shape, size, and weight of the wrap makes for the essential travel companion – oversized and cozy, yet lightweight enough so as not to overwhelm.
Each section of colorwork represents a different part of the country, starting at the Pacific Ocean, heading east through the mountains, then the vast countryside with nothing but power lines as far as the eye can see, and finally the arrival into the sparkling city that never sleeps.

What you'll need
We have teamed up with Alexandra & Lion Brand Yarns to use the Color Theory Yarn for this special KAL.* You can see the original colors and yardage amounts on the blog post.
*This pattern originally called for a mix of Lion Brand's Wool-Ease & Touch of Alpaca, though some of the colors and bases are currently unavailable.
Alternatively, you can mix & match your own worsted weight yarn. You will need roughly 1,419 yards total.
The timeline
February 13th
Now that you've got your materials ready and your inspiration dreamt, it's time to dig in! We're starting off with a cast-on party and spending the next three weeks knitting up our panels.
March 6th
Time to check in and see how everyone's panels are progressing. We'll be helping with any troubleshooting and encouragement you may need!
March 20th
Now we're moving on to grafting our panels together. We'll have a live grafting party (we love parties) and work through any questions you have.
April 3rd
Ready to work on the final steps? We'll be working through the last details of our wraps (and weaving in ends).
April 20th
Yay! We're done! We're going to take this time to do a special Live in the Facebook group and show off our finished objects!
